The International Café is a place where international students meet with local people simply to talk and to build friendships. Many international students would like to be a part of our local community in Dundee and good friendships can begin with a cup of tea or coffee or sharing some food together. Often international students are eager to ask us about our culture, opinions and beliefs and Dundee people want to learn from the students about their own countries and whatever is important to them. You will often see a group gathered around an atlas as someone explains where they are from.

Some weeks we just relax and talk together but most weeks there is an interesting event – perhaps an international food evening, a game, the Christmas story, a ceilidh, ‘bring an object from home’ and a whole variety of different events.

All international students are welcome at the International Café. It is not just for Christians. People of every background come.

The Café is organised by Friends International and teams from several local churches and St Peter’s often provide people to run the Café.

You can see our programme at www.friendsinternational-dundee.org.uk.  Look at “Café Programme” and “notice board” to find out where we are and what we are doing each week.

As well as the Café we have a weekend away each year, occasional walking trips, visits to local homes and a lively Small Group, who have a meal and discuss the Bible together.

Some weeks we are away from St Peter’s visiting other places in Dundee but most Saturdays from September to May we are in the hall at St Peter’s.

Saturday evenings 8pm to 10pm.

You are welcome to join us.
