This is the substance of a talk I gave at Duncan of Jordanstone Art College at the University of Dundee. Those of you who know Rookmaaker's 'Modern Art and the Death of a Culture' will recognise much of the material, which I have condensed and re-contextualised, and then added a few of my own thoughts. Noel has been part of the UK Christian music scene for more than 35 years and has written many worship songs. Perhaps the best known of these is ‘All Heaven Declares', which he co-wrote with his wife Tricia. Noel currently has 17 songs that feature in the CCLI top 500, Church Copyright listing.
